01Who we write for
We write for ESG and quality teams at manufacturers, automotive parts suppliers, operators of biomass plants and ethanol distilleries, carbon removal credit buyers, and LCA practitioners.
02Sources
- We rely first on primary sources, such as laws, official notices, rulebooks, and registry documents.
- Every fact about regulation and markets comes with a date and a link.
- When we use secondary sources (news articles or company materials), we say so.
- Facts we have not been able to verify are either left out or marked “to be verified.”
03Numbers
- Numbers used for explanation are labeled “Illustrative.”
- We do not state performance figures, such as reduction rates or speed, until they have been measured in a pilot.
- Calculated figures are accompanied by the calculation method.
04Review process
- AuthorDrafting
- Fact-checkEditing
- ReviewerExpert review
- PublicationUpdate log begins
- Regulatory explainers have a named reviewer.
- External reviewers disclose their affiliation and whether they are paid.
05Updates and corrections
- When rules change, we aim to update the relevant regulatory explainers within 7 days.
- Every article has an update log.
- If a fact is wrong, we post a correction notice above the article text and record it in the correction log below.

| Date | Article | Correction | Severity |

06Use of AI
- We may use AI tools to organize material, draft, translate, and summarize. A person checks the output against the original and revises it.
- We do not use AI to create numbers that have no source. We do not use fictional people, cases, or quotations.
- If AI was used in an article, the article says so.
07Disclosure of interests
greenMRV provides LCA & EPD Automation, carbon removal project development, and Catena-X & PCF services. Articles on these topics disclose this. Sponsored content is labeled “Sponsored.”
08Wording
- Certifications and ratings are decided by independent bodies. We never describe our services as obtaining certification on a client’s behalf, guaranteeing certification, or guaranteeing a rating.
- Instead of “permanent,” we use the durability tier set by each methodology.
- We do not present a product carbon footprint as lowered by carbon credits.
- We do not treat CBAM reporting as the same thing as a product carbon footprint or an EPD.
- We do not use expressions such as “first in Korea” or “the only.”
09Institution names and terms
- We use current institution names and, where needed, add the former name. Example: Ministry of Climate, Energy and Environment (formerly the Ministry of Environment)
- English abbreviations are spelled out on first use (in Korean on our Korean site).
