Terms of Use

Article 1Purpose

The purpose of these Terms is to set out the conditions and procedures for using the website (the “Site”) operated by greenMRV (“we” or “us”), and the rights and obligations of greenMRV and Users.

These Terms apply to the use of the Site. The terms of use for services (apps) that we provide, such as “LCA & EPD Automation,” will be set out in separate terms when each service launches.

Article 2Definitions

1. Site: the website www.greenmrv.com operated by greenMRV, and its subpages
2. User: a person who accesses the Site and uses it in accordance with these Terms
3. Content: all materials that we post on the Site, including text, tables, images, and data files

Article 3Posting and amendment of these Terms

1. We post these Terms on the Site so that Users can easily view them.
2. We may amend these Terms to the extent that doing so does not violate applicable laws.
3. When we amend these Terms, we will give notice of the effective date and the changes on the Site at least 7 days before the effective date (at least 30 days for changes unfavorable to Users) and record them in the revision history below.

Article 4Services provided

We provide the following services on the Site.

1. Content: articles and guides on carbon measurement and verification practice, and the Standards Map of carbon and environmental standards
2. Consultation and inquiry information: details of the channels through which we receive service consultation requests and general inquiries

The “Carbon Practice Briefing” newsletter, self-assessment tools, and resource downloads are in preparation. We will add them to this Article when they launch.

Article 5Content copyright and quotation

1. Copyright in the Content belongs to us or to its legitimate rights holders.
2. Users may quote the Content provided that they cite the source. Please include “greenMRV,” the article title, and the page address in the citation. Quotations must remain within a reasonable scope for purposes such as news reporting, criticism, education, or research (Article 28 of the Copyright Act). To republish an entire article, or to modify and redistribute it, you must obtain our permission in advance.
3. Data files (CSV) for tables and charts may be quoted under the same conditions. To redistribute an entire dataset or include it in a product, please contact us in advance.
4. Rights in the laws, institutional documents, and standards documents cited in the Content belong to their respective original authors.

Article 6Nature of self-assessment tool results

1. Results from the self-assessment tools are calculated from the information entered by the User and are for reference only.
2. The results are not the outcome of any certification or verification. Certification and verification are performed by independent bodies.
3. Each result states the reference date and version of the rules applied.

Article 7User obligations

Users must not engage in any of the following acts.

1. Collecting or registering email addresses posted on the Site, using automated collection programs or similar means, for the purpose of sending advertising information
2. Interfering with the operation of the Site (for example, through abnormally high volumes of access, transmission of malicious code, or access that exploits security vulnerabilities)
3. Using another person’s information without authorization, or submitting consultation requests or inquiries with false information
4. Infringing the copyright or other rights of greenMRV or any other person
5. Any other act that violates applicable laws

Article 8Links

1. The Site contains links to the websites of other organizations and companies.
2. The content of linked websites and their processing of personal information are governed by those websites’ own terms of use and policies.

Article 9Limitation of liability

1. The Content is general information based on the laws and standards in effect as of its reference date. Laws and standards may change, so please check the reference date and sources stated in each article.
2. The Content is general information and does not constitute advice on any specific matter or the result of any certification or verification. We are not liable for the consequences of decisions that Users make with reference to the Content, except for damage caused by our willful misconduct or gross negligence.
3. We are not liable for any failure to provide the Site due to causes beyond our control, such as natural disasters, telecommunications failures, or hosting service outages, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence on our part.

Article 10Governing law and jurisdiction

1. These Terms are interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Korea.
2. Any dispute relating to the use of the Site will be resolved by the court having jurisdiction under the Civil Procedure Act.

Addendum

These Terms take effect on October 25, 2026.
